Flood Response
Flooding Remains Malaysia's Most Devastating Natural Disaster.
Floodplains near coastal areas and along rivers can become severely flooded, affecting communities nearby. With trained first aiders, volunteers, and a strong local presence, MRCS supports authorities through outreach, feeding, hospital assistance, patient transport, first aid clinics and blood donor recruitment.
The National Disaster Response Team expands MRCS emergency response capacity with technical disaster management knowledge, first aid capability and trained support for emergency operations.
