International Visit Delegates

Welcoming the World to MRCS.

MRCS hosted delegates from Singapore and Japan Red Cross societies — sharing knowledge, building friendships, and strengthening the global Red Cross movement through bilateral visits.
June 13–14, 2023

Singapore Red Cross Youth Visit

SRC youth volunteers joined MRCS for an ambulance showcase, youth activity presentations and community outreach. They received training in first aid and CPR for the blind, and took part in team-building and knowledge-sharing sessions on heatwaves and community resilience.

The visit strengthened ties between both societies and increased SRC awareness of MRCS's vaccination and youth engagement initiatives.

Japan Red Cross Visit

21 participants — junior Red Cross members, teacher sponsors, staff and a nurse — visited MRCS for joint activities and project visits. Malaysian Red Crescent youth gained insights into global humanitarian practices and Japanese Red Cross leadership approaches.

The exchange reinforced international cooperation and contributed to the growth of youth activities within MRCS.
