Myanmar Earthquake Relief
MRC Launches Emergency Appeal for Myanmar.
A 7.7-magnitude earthquake struck Myanmar on 29 March 2025, followed by a 6.4-magnitude aftershock — leaving a trail of destruction across the country. MRC has mobilised in solidarity with the Myanmar Red Cross Society and IFRC.

MRC Response
Mobilising Aid Where It Matters Most.
In collaboration with NADMA, MRC is contributing 3 tonnes of relief items as part of a 15-tonne aid shipment — including kitchen sets, hygiene kits, blankets, mosquito nets and essential supplies. MRC works closely with the Myanmar Red Cross Society and IFRC to coordinate reception and distribution of aid in affected areas.
Myanmar Red Cross Society volunteers are delivering first aid, conducting search and rescue operations, and transporting injured individuals to hospitals — supported by IFRC and 190 National Societies including MRC.
