Canadian high commission, M’sian Red Crescent aid flood-hit households
PETALING JAYA: Canada’s high commission and Malaysian Red Crescent (MRC) will provide RM150,000 to assist around 3,000 households in flood-affected communities in Terengganu, Kelantan and Kedah.
In a statement today, the high commission said Canada’s funding is specifically directed at helping students in flood-hit areas continue their education by alleviating the financial burden of their families.
